ABOUT HANNAH
Some eat to live; some live to eat. Hannah lives to eat.
* A long-time Durango resident, Hannah fell in love with all things cooking many years ago. Hannah has been told by many that food is her love language, and she can't say she disagrees. Hannah has experience cooking at a backcountry hut and was briefly named in a Washington Post article for her mushroom foraging abilities. Since then, she has worked as a private chef in the Durango community. Hannah specializes in all types of dietary restrictions and is an expert at tweaking recipes to make them allergen-friendly. * Born in Japan and raised in a bi-cultural household, Hannah has had the great fortune of traveling the world and gathering inspiration along the way. Hannah is a frequent traveler to Taiwan, where her mother's family still resides, and has quite the appetite for cooking (and consuming) Asian food! * Despite running Adventure through Food (and being thrilled to be a woman-owned business), Hannah is an educator and social worker by trade. She has an advanced certificate in ecotherapy and brings this lens to her offerings as a private chef. * Food is more than a meal. It's an adventure, an experience, a way of nourishing our bodies. It's an opportunity to connect to nature and to engage with the lands with which we live. Whether food is simply how you sustain or your reason to get out of bed in the morning, there is a culinary experience that awaits... |
